In the field of education, there are many theorists with their own beliefs and theories on how to run a functional and successful classroom. This artifact contains the Positive Discipline theory by Fredric Jones and how, if educators follow this method, it will eliminate the unacceptable behavior in the classroom. It is important that I take this knowledge with me into my classroom for many reasons. Having a proper acquisition phase, backup systems and proximity control will allow my classroom to run smoothly. Along with giving students praise for their hard work rather than a reward, I will leave the students with a proud sense of accomplishment and a good-feel feeling.
