Knowing the history and learning styles of different cultures will allow teachers to recognize diversity in the classroom. Researching one topic in particular, the Native American culture has opened my eyes completely. By doing this presentation, I have learned many of their values, and what they take into the classroom with them. Knowing the values and cultures of each student will initiate what we as educators bring to the classroom.
