The CSET exam measures your knowledge of the California Content Standards - http://www.cde.ca.gov/be/st/ss/index.asp.
We suggest reviewing the content standards for your subject area and ensuring you are able to personally do all of the items listed.
Once you have reviewed the content standards for your subject area, we suggest you to take several practice tests to identify any areas you may need to review in more depth. When you feel confident in your subject knowledge register and take the CSET exam.
Remember, you must have passing scores on the CSET exam before you are allowed to apply for or begin student teaching.
