My goals as a student now are to learn and take in as much as I can about children and how they learn best. One of my goals now is to get as much experience with teaching children as I can before I have to teach on my own. My goals for my future job are to become a teacher that can build relationships with all of my students, to where they can come to me when they need anything. My goal is to become the teacher that students can remember and say I learned a lot in her class and it was fun. I want my students to succeed and for them to be able to see what they can learn and set high goals for themselves. I want all my students to be challenged to do the best that they can.
My beliefs as a teacher are that I think every child can learn. I believe that when teaching you should introduce new material by relating it to already known information. Then have students worked together on the material, next have the children do independent work on the material, then assess what the teacher has taught. I believe that a classroom should be inviting and comforting to all students. I believe teachers should be remodel for the children to look up. I believe that teacher should be support for all children. I believe that teachers should do the best that they can to teach children from all different learning styles. I believe that grades should reflect what the student actually knows. Not all grades should come from test, but come from homework, in-class assignments, group work, and projects. I believe that teachers should do their best to incorporate all special needs student in the class and lesson plans. I believe that all students should be given high expectations from the teacher. I believe that teachers should love and want to teach children. Teachers should want the best for all of their students and love all of them.
