Business Information Management

BIM (Business Information Management) is a course designed to teach students the basics of Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Publisher. While some of the material is a review, a great deal of the information will be of use in upper levels of education as well as the business world. During the first semester, students will concentrate their studies on the Word and Excel. Second semester begin the study of Access, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Publisher. The end of the year students will complete a project that will utilize the information learned in each area. Throughout the study, different projects will be incorporated to allow students to see the relevant use of the unit of study in their personal life as well as in the business world.
