What is interactive notetaking?
     Students will be shown how to take notes in several different ways this year. Sometimes we will highlight and color code information. Other times we will create charts, illustrations and memory devices in our notes. At all times the goal will be for students to personalize their notes and to learn how they best can create notes that are worthwhile to study from. Students do not receive tests back to study from. It is essential to keep notes and to plan on using them for this class and a reference in future years. Many students save notebooks from Spanish II for college. Notes will be checked for a grade about once every two to three weeks.

En Español tutorial discs available.

Free take home tutorial discs.
Just ask the teacher for the CD-ROM and one will be provided for you. Discs match the text, En Español, and are free of charge. Just return the disc at the conclusion of the semester. At that point if we don't receive them, we charge $10 for replacement and you can't get school records, grades, until the disc is returned.

Online daily assignment record
Although I will attempt to enter assignments daily or weekly, students are solely responsible for their class assignments and the calendar of events for their class. Due to changes in the schedule, one block may be at a different place than another block. Students need to keep up-to-date. Likewise, there will be times when I cannot enter information due to technical problems or time constraints. This service is provided as a help, not a replacement for recording assignments in class.
