Course Overview

  1. Lesson 1 (p. 1): The students will learn how to greet people in Spanish, say goodbye, identify themselves and others, and talk about the time of the day.
  2. Lesson 2 (p.39): The students will learn how to talk about their classes and school life, discuss everyday activities, ask questions in Spanish, and describe the location of people and things.
  3. Lesson 3 (p. 77): The students will learn how to talk about their family and friends, describe people and things, and express ownership.
  4. Lesson 4 (p.115): The students will learn how to talk about pastimes, weekend activities, and sports, as well as make plans and invitations.
  5. Lesson 5 (p.150): The students will learn to discuss and plan a vacation, describe a hotel, talk about how they feel, as well as the seasons and the weather.
  6. Lesson 6 (p.189): The students will talk about and describe clothing, express preferences in a store, and negotiate and pay for items to purchase.
  7. Lesson 7 (p.225): The students will learn how to describe their daily routine, talk about their personal hygiene, and reassure someone.
  8. Lesson 8 (p.261): The students will learn to order food in a restaurant, and talk about and describe foods.
