About Gabriela Serrano:

Gabriela Serrano is majoring in Communications Studies with in Theatre. She is now in her senior year and expecting to graduate this fall semester with honors. In the meantime, Gabriela is interning at CBS Radio and is looking forward to a career in the media field. She believes that it is important to be prepared when an opportunity comes; so, naturally, she decided to attend the University of Houston-Downtown to fulfill her career goals. She likes UHD because of its location and accessibility. About UH-D, Gabriela says, “You are going to meet a lot of warm, welcoming, and diverse people.” Indeed, Gabriela, a native of Mexico is one of those people.
