Life on Longwood Campus

Phi Kappa Tau Fraternity - As a member of the Phi Kappa Tau Fraternity I have held numerous positions. I have been the Vice President of Alumni Relations and Webmaster. As the Vice President of Alumni Relations I helped to set up a 20 year reunion. In addition to setting up the 20 year reunion I made connections with alumni to receive donations and fundraising opportunities to continue our goal of relieving our debt situation. As Webmaster I ran a Facebook page to invite people to events on campus as well as  a website.

College of Business and Economics (CBE) Dean's Student Advisory Board - As a member of the CBE Dean's Student Advisory Board I aid in the continuous improvement of the CBE in order to become the leading business school in the Commonwealth of Virginia. The board members serve as a diverse intermediary between the students and the Dean to encourage the highest level of academic achievement, to facilitate decision-making, and to form a strong union students, faculty, and stakeholders. I hold the position of Departing Lancer Chair. This position involves setting up exit interviews for graduating seniors of the CBE and takes their feedback to improve classes, experiences, and continued learning.

Intramural Sports - Intramural sports have allowed me to experience a stress free college experience. When I am stressed I am able to go excercise while either playing anything from flag football, to indoor soccer. It is always a great time and I enjoy it.

Volunteering - I have many volunteer experiences at Longwood University. The Big Event is one of the main things students at Longwood participate in each year. The Big Event allows me to volunteer for the local Farmville community by doing anything from pulling weeds, to laying mulch. In addition to the Big Event I have also participated in Relay for Life.
