Research Interests

I am interested in late-nineteenth and twentieth century, U.S. cultural history with a focus on gender and sexuality, imagination and memory, and material culture.

My master essay "The Power and Production of Dreamscapes in Chevrolet Suburban Carryall Advertisements, 1957-1979" examines the Carryall's place in American commerce and culture.
