Grid and Block Marking

Use existing hundred block. Even numbers on one side, odd numbers on other side

 

Mark new numbers on the front with orange spray paint.

Street not identifiable, start with the letter “A” using the phonetic alphabet “Alpha”, “Bravo”, Charlie, etc.

 

Individual Structure Marking

When recording building markings use the street side of the building as side A and rotate clock-wise (as seen from street).

Multi-story sturctures are identified with an additional designation: Ground floor: Floor 1, Second Story, Floor 2 Basement and floors below ground:B-1

Inside the house identify the walls as quadrants, working clock-wise from the street side and mark the center of the room separately.
