Praxis II Scores

Praxis II tests must be passed in all endorsement areas before you are eligible to student teach.

Preparing for the Test

Register at ets.org/praxis
Praxis Scores are emailed within 3 weeks of the test date.
Submit ETS score report after each time you take a Praxis II exam. This requirement is scored "Does Not Meet Requirements" until all tests are passed.
All Praxis II exams must be passed by April 1/October 1 the semester prior to student teaching.

Test Passed

Please include comments with each submission, including your final report. You will need to submit the final report from ETS which includes all passing scores, signifying that you have met the Praxis II requirements.

Test Not Passed

Review the FULL REPORT - Page 3 will show you where your strengths and weaknesses are for the major topics of your Praxis II test.
Upload ETS score report with comments to the evaluator that includes:
- your retake date
- your plan for preparing for the retake such as what materials/resources, tutor, practice tests, etc you will use and the daily schedule for studying based on the topics of your Praxis II test.
Resubmit each attempt until you have passed to receive a "Meets Requirement".

Approximately 2 weeks after you have taken your test, results will be posted here. No submission required.

Idaho Comprehensive Literacy Assessment (ICLA) is required for ALL teacher education candidates at the undergraduate level and in the Master of Arts in Teaching.

Official scores are uploaded into Taskstream approximately 2 weeks after each testing period closes, however your grade is reported immediately in Moodle.
Minimum passing score is 70% for each standard.
Minimum of 60 days between testing on the same standard
Each standard is approximately 50 questions - multiple choice.
ICLA testing is housed in Moodle. After you have been enrolled in the literacy course below, you will be enrolled in the correct test section.
