Applying for Student Teaching

This application is to be completed within Taskstream. You need to log in to submit your documentation. The application is not considered complete until the Overall Folio Evaluation is marked "Met Requirement" by Apr 20/Oct 20 prior to the semester you intend to student teach. 

Step 1 (FIRST SEMESTER OF THE PROGRAM)

• Complete Intent to Student Teach Form in FIRST SEMESTER
• Begin completing requirements for Student Teaching Eligibility

Step 2 (TWO SEMESTERS BEFORE STUDENT TEACHING)

• Begin uploading Praxis II exam scores
• Review ICLA exam scores
• Review outstanding requirements with adviso

This is a reminder as you saw these dispositions upon entering the Teacher Education program.

Upload proof of registration telling us the test number and date of the Praxis II.

Register at ets.org/praxis

Candidates need to pick up a fingerprint/background check packet.  All candidates are required to complete this packet - no exceptions.  

Once you have been cleared through the state system, this will be marked as "Met".  

Expect 6-8 weeks for processing. Results must be received before student teaching can begin.
