Madre, que dar pudiste de tu vientre pequeño
tantas rubias bellezas y tropical tesoro,
tanto lago de azures,
Yo te ofrezco el acerco en que forjé mi empeño,
la caja de armonía que guarda me tesoro,
la peaña de diamantes del Idolo que adoro
y te ofrezco mi esfuerzo, y mi nobre y mi sueño.
donde Rubén Darío (1867 - 1916)
"Chaguitillo is a small community of 3,500 inhabitants, attached to the town of Sebaco which counts approximately 35,000 inhabitants. Sebaco-Chaguitillo is located in the mountainous area of Matagalpa, to a hundred kilometers in the North of the capital of Niguargua, Managua.
It is an agricultural zone specialized in the market gardens, rice growing, and the conditioning of coffee. The current stake for this village is to diversify its economic activities in order to not depend only on the courses of raw materials agricultural." [French Embassy to Nicaragua, 2004.]

School Garden Project
The faculities director for the school garden project, Eric Robinson, built the school, which is the first free elementary school in the area, and planted the first trees, shade only, several years ago. Due to the birth of his second child, at age 60 he will only be able to help on facilities, and we will have to find another caretaker hopefully a local person who is a strong volunteer to manage the site once land is bought.
Eric can negotiate the purchasing of the land for the large school garden nearby, once the small on-site garden is up and running, as he can use standing in the community. Working with Carmen Davila, the principal, to pick the best land available for the first garden.
Eric has 20 years growing experience in the region and knows exactly what grows, and where, and how, he sells his trees now to other farmers, and has many customers, as well as holding one of the most bountiful gardens in the region. He will pick, prepare and mulch the site, the next question is how to find funding for the cyclone fencing to protect the site from theft due to hunger in the area. Fencing will probably outweigh all other costs but is necessary in the area to ensure crop safety for the children, as the foods from it will help to feed them during <st1:time Hour="12" Minute="0"><SPAN style="FONT-SIZE: 12pt; FONT-FAMILY: 'Times New Roman'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-ansi-language: EN-US; mso-fareast-language: EN-US; mso-bidi-language: AR-SA">noon</SPAN></st1:time> day meal.
