Span III HL

Spanish for Heritage Language

This course is designed  for students who where exposed to Spanish Speaking environments at an early age. This class is conducted in Spanish. This course helps students to develop their confidence in the Spanish skills they already possess while looking expand them. It focuses on developing an understanding of the differences between formal and informal Spanish while seeking to develop both in the areas of writing, spelling, reading, grammar, vocabulary, listening comprehension and oral production. Language development is performed within a dynamic cultural context where students learn about the culture, history and literature of Spanish-speaking countries with particular emphasis on the United States.
