In addressing the Arizona Professional Teacher Standard 7 and 8; to show the significance of a action research study to determine which the best practice is for students who receive adapted physical education service as apart of their educational setting in public schools. The action research study also showed the needs of students that are in the adapted physical education program. The research study determined which practice of service delivery method is the best practice; direct, consultation, collaboration, and/or combination of the three service delivery method.
The action research study provided information to determine what is the best practice of adapted physical education service for students in high school, middle school, and elementary school students. Overall, the ability to provide and improve; yet manageable way of servicing students who are in the adapted physical education program was a significance factor in the action research study.
