He has taught Adapted Physical Education (15 years) and Physical Education (4 years) in a variety of grade levels, disabling conditions, and educational settings.
He has teaching experience in Jefferson County Public Schools, CO, Palmdale School District, CA, and Fargo Public Schools, ND.

Bryan is a Nationally Certified Adapted Physical Educator. Bryan is chairing the Colorado Department of Education Committee that is developing and writing the NEW Adapted Physical Education Guidelines for Colorado Public Schools.
Bryan and his wife, Cheryl, reside in Highlands Ranch, CO with their three daughters; Madeline, Emma, and Abigail. Bryan enjoys watching his daughters participate in sports and school activities, playing hockey, golfing, and family vacations.
He brings years of experience in the adapted physical education field to further adapted physical education programs in Colorado Public Schools. A professional goal would be to explore the possibility of developing a state “adapted sports league” for students with disabilities in conjunction with CHSAA. This "adapted sports league" would model a successful program that is in place in the state of Minnesota.
The portfolio is a reflection of my graduate study at Grand Canyon University in the area of Special Education. The assignments of each course are directly related to the Arizona Professional Teacher Standards and/or National Standards for Physical Education.
