In specifically addressing Arizona Professional Teacher Standard 9, there is an ongoing of assessing, developing, and implementing of goals and objectives for the individual educational plan for a student with disabilities that qualifies for adapted physical education services.

As one member of the motor team department (OT's, PT's, and APE's) we collaborate together if a student is in need of two or more of the motor services so that the student can access the curriculum in a successfully manner.

In this team approach, the parents, students, and staff members who work specifically with the student work together in what is referred to as best practice method.
