Math websites

Geometry (Lg.)

This is a great exploration website when learning about cubes in math. It is a good way for children to visually understand what makes up a cube and what doesn't.

This website is to the Mathworld site. It includes definitions and images for students to refer to and it may help them gain a deeper understanding of Geometry.

This site is a great reference site on shapes. It defines what each shape is and the criteria needed to be met in order to be classified as each shape.

This site is a site which gives directions on how to fold paper to create certain shapes. You can have the students work in groups to accomplish this activity. It is a wonderful hands-on activity which will allow visual learners to be able to see how each shape is constructed.
