I had the opportunity to design an empty bulletin board for my mentor teacher. Previously the board was only used for lunch passes, as I had previously stated lunch passes (with a teacher or school staff member's signature) are required if students wish to leave the cafeteria to eat in another classroom. I transformed the board by labeling the two classes my mentor teacher instructs: Sociology & AP Psychology. I added images on all sides of the board including images relating to both sociology and psychology, such as the brain and nervous system for psychology and the globe and religions around the world for sociology. I also ensured that I made room for lunch passes where students could place them, in an effort to no longer misplace or lose them. I also put my mentor teacher's name on the board, as her name is seldom anywhere else, because instead her key focus is teaching her subjects and displaying her students' work.
