A computer game is a software program in which one or more players  make decisions through the control of game objects and resources, in pursuit of a goal.

Assignment 1 - Game Matrix 

Using three games of your choice (must be of three different genre), create a matrix (see "Matrix Example" below) in which you will complete the following:

• Genre
  • Player's Roles
    • Decisions -- what decisions are yours to make
    • Control -- what actions you control (walk, run, jump, etc.) with the controller(s)
    • Controller(s) -- what you control it with (joystick, keyboard, etc.)
    • Objects and Resources -- what is available and for what it is used
    • Goal(s) of the game
    • Why you like this game (this is your opinion)
      
       

Assignment 2 - Compare & Contrast

Using Word, write a paper comparing and contrasting the components of two games included in your matrix.

Minimum of seven paragraphs

    1. Introduction
    2. Player Role(s)
    3. Decisions
    4. Control / Controller
    5. Objects and Resources -- don't just list, explain
    6. Goals
    7. Closing

Must use good composition, grammar, and correct spelling.
