Legal and ethical issues reflect the members that make up the larger society. Issues that fall under the legal and ethical category include hacking, having students with social needs, safety issues, academic dishonesty, and illegal downloads/software piracy. One way of solving this issue is teaching children between right and wrong. Children will have an understanding on what is acceptable and what is not. Another way to solve the issue is informing children about the consequences of these actions. For instance, academic dishonesty can cause the student to get a failing grade and/or be suspended/expelled. Hacking and illegal downloads/software piracy can result in jail.
