Mission Statement

I believe that learning can and should be as fun as possible. I believe in hands-on learning and engaging ALL students in classroom instruction and activities. I believe that EVERY student can learn, and that each one learns differently than the others. I believe in proactive classroom management. I am on the floor at all times when learning is in progress; I do not manage my classroom from behind my desk. I believe in rewards and consequences equally; every action requires a reaction. I believe that the only way you can’t win is only if you don’t try. In my classroom, attitude is everything! I require 100% at all times from every student; I will accept nothing less than each student’s best. In my classroom, nothing less than your best is the plan for success.

In my classroom, students will:

  • Have fun while learning.

  • Develop, practice, and show leadership

  • Develop, practice, and show respect

  • Give 100% at all times; TRY, TRY, TRY!

  • Discover new ways of learning, and learn something new every day.

  • Realize that everyone is different, and that each of those differences is OKAY!

  • “Be somebody. Go somewhere. Wake up. Pay attention!”
