Purpose of Taskstream

Taskstream Logo

By Spring 2014, all programs will have a complete assessment portfolio (DRF) in Taskstream.  When appropriate, the following items will be included in the DRF:  signature assignments, technology assignments, field experience and clinical practice documentation and evidence, dispositions assessments, transition point evaluations, and program-related surveys.

This Fall we are launching many of these DRFs and are asking for your cooperation in completing evaluations per the agreement all faculty acknowledge when creating their Taskstream account:

Faculty acknowledgement, School of Education: As an instructor for Azusa Pacific University’s School of Education, I acknowledge that for candidates to complete certain program requirements, I must score work submitted to me within Taskstream.  I acknowledge that I cannot give a candidate a final course grade for a course with a signature assignment until the assignment has been evaluated in Taskstream.  I recognize this involves checking for candidate submissions regularly or contacting the Taskstream and Technology Support Provider to turn on the auto-notification service for me.

The TWO T’s of Taskstream Evaluations:

  • Timely:  Because transition point evaluations will be taking place during a candidate’s program when assessment pieces in Taskstream are reviewed, timely evaluations are extremely important.
  • Thoughtful:  Thoughtfulness in the evaluation process is crucial for our data to have true meaning.

Thank you, in advance, for your help with Taskstream.  It is greatly appreciated!
