Getting started on building your professional portfolio is intimidating. It is the first step to the rest of your life after you graduate college. Currently, I am starting to build mine. Everyone has to start somewhere. I am hoping to gain experience that will help me learn and grow. I truly believe almost everything you do and every interaction you have teaches you something either about yourself or about how the world works. You just need to realize what you have learned from that experience to be able to grow and evolve. I am lucky enough to have the opportunity to have new experiences by working for two different organizations. Both of these organizations give me invaluable experience, from learning workplace skills, personal skills, to helping give me experience that will allow me to move onto the next chapter in my life.
