As a teacher, I plan to use technology as often as possible in my classroom. For that very reason, I am thrilled to have learned so many useful and applicable programs in my Computer Science course at Chandler-Gilbert. In this course I learned to use programs such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Access. I learned that Excel and Access are very useful programs for teachers, because they allow you to organize data, such as grades, in a very organized and efficient manner. I also had the opportunity to participate in several class discussions about technology in the classroom. We talked about several issues, such as website filters, on-line textbooks and technology education standards. I truly believe that the knowledge I gained in this class will help me use technology in a very positive manner in my own classroom.</FONT>
