Calculators

cal.jpg One tool I will definitely use in my classroom is calculators. I strongly believe that children need to use them in order to fully comprehend math concepts, but I will use them as a supplement to my lessons. After my students have mastered a concept, I will let them use calculators to check their work and discover patterns. I will urge parents to buy their children calculators and encourage them to use these helpful tools wisely.
