The internet is a great resource for teachers. Below is a compilation of links I have gathered throughout my teacher education. I feel these links will be useful to me as an educator. Some of them, I will use everyday, others I may only use once a year. Regardless, they are all very helpful and informative links.

Puzzlemaker.com is a wonderful source for teachers. This website allows teachers to create their own puzzles to use in their classroom. It is a fast and easy website that simply requires you to type in the desired words and in a few seconds it creates a neat puzzle that can be printed and copied for use in the classroom.

Great Women

Greatwomen.org is a wonderful website with over 200 biographies of memorable women in history. It is a great source for students working on research papers or projects. It is also a great website for teachers hoping to expand their students’ perspectives on women’s roles in history.

Biography.com is a great source for students working on research papers and projects. This website hosts over 25,000 biographies of memorable people from all over the world.

Fact Monster

Factmonster.com is a great website that provides answers to the burning questions children may have. With just a few clicks, children can find information on anything from greek mythology to major art movements from around the world. It is SO fun--I know my students will use it often!

Extreme Science

Extremescience.com is a great website with helpful information on anything science. It has a great section on planets that I am positive I will use in my class one day!

Teachersfirst.com is a wonderful website for teachers. It is full of resources not only for their classroom, but also for proffesional development. It is easy to use and is free!
