During my second semester at Chandler-Gilbert Community College, I had the privilege of taking an extraordinary United States history course. Since almost half of the class consisted of education majors, the instructor insisted on incorporating education into the curriculum. One of my favorite projects of this class was a presentation I gave on "The Ranching Frontier." The presentation detailed how I would present the material to a 5th grade class. I really enjoyed the project because it gave me my first taste of lesson planning. I am extremely proud of the outcome of my project--I received an A+! It was a great experience, and I plan to use it in my classroom one day.
