I found Legoland California to be an educational, adventurous, and entertaining destination for a field trip. While it offers a variety of field trip plans that are appropriate for grade levels K-6, their Social Studies content would be best suitable for grades K-4. The Legoland staff is knowledgeable and well prepared and we were able to preorder our lunches in order to make this a hassle free trip. Legoland offers a specific educational field trip program called "Building America" which covers Social Studies and History. There is a historical scavenger hunt that goes along with this particular field trip. There is also an amazing selection of instructional Science field trips which include a 45 minute hands-on class led by the education staff. The entire park is full of educational activities and is pleasing to students and teachers alike.
