I completed my internship during my Block II semester. The internship took place at Mountain View Elementary in Ashe County. I was there from January through March on Wednesdays, and then full-time beginning March 28 through April 27. While there my cooperating teacher was Susan Bard who taught third grade. My responsibilites included observations of the class, assisting the teacher with the students, a reading assessment activity, service learning activity, lessons for science and social studies, an integrated unit, and three math lessons.
