  • State Trainer for the VA Teachers for Tomorrow program through the VA Department of Education
  • FCPS Superintendent's Advisory Committee representative for Hayfield 
  • Presenter at Great Virginia Teach-In
  • Presenter for Teacher Cadet Program Implementation at Hayfield’s elementary feeder schools
  • Presenter at FCPS Curriculum Review Committee for Teacher Cadet Course approval
  • Presenter at School Board Meeting to promote Teacher Cadet as an optional course in all high schools
  • Member of FCPS Curriculum Review Committee
  • Assisted in the development and revision of curriculum for FCPS in Teen Living 7, Teen Living 8, Contemporary Living, Business of Living, Relationships, Teacher Cadet, Peer Mediation, and AVID
  • Presenter at VATFACS Summer Institutes
  • Presenter of numerous curriculum writing updates at Family & Consumer Sciences, Peer Mediation, and AVID In-service Meetings 
  • Presenter of AVID Portfolio for annual certification process (5 years)
  • Presenter at Mount Vernon Lion’s Club, Mount Vernon Rotary Club, and Crystal City Rotary Club relating to their business partnerships with Hayfield’s programs
  • Presenter at Fairfax Partnership for Youth Support on Suspension Inservice
  • Trainer of high school Peer Mediators to facilitate workshops at the Annual Regional Student Mediation Conference (10 years)
  • Facilitator of workshops at the GMU Annual Peer Mediation Conference (10 years)
  • Developed and trained high school Peer Mediators to conduct mediation training workshops for elementary feeder schools
  • Developed and implemented conflict resolution lessons for J.E.T.T. intervention program
  • Developed and trained high school Peer Mediators to conduct conflict resolution and anger management workshops for Summit students
  • Developed and implemented Hayfield’s first “Stop the Violence Week” sponsored by Peer Mediation
  • Developed and implemented Hayfield’s first “Red Ribbon Week” sponsored by Peer Helping
  • Trainer of high school Peer Helpers to present the “Power Program” on positive decision-making to elementary feeder schools
  • Trainer of high school Peer Helpers to present a Test Buster Pep Rally on test-taking strategies in preparation for the SOLs targeting third and fifth graders at Hayfield Elementary
  • Developed and trained middle and high school Peer Helpers to lead transition presentations for Hayfield pyramid sixth graders
  • Presenter at the Hayfield Community Coalition Nights for Peer Helping and Mediation
  • Coached Hayfield students for participation in district, state, and national FCCLA Star Events Competition with 11 national gold medal winners
