• During 2010 - 2012, Loyola University Chicago began the revision process of the Core Curriculum for Loyola University Chicago. I worked with the Office of the Provost as well as various faculty committees to develop the Engaged Learning university requirement.
• During the 2011 - 2012 academic year, I served on the Core Curriculum Implementation Committee, a university committee to facilitate the implementation of the new requirements.
• I currently serve on a sub-committee for Engaged Learning, a sub-committee of the Board of Undergraduate Studies, recommended by the Provost and nominated by deans. This committee reviews faculty proposals and syllabi for Engaged Learning courses, develops university policies and processes regarding Engaged Learning, and communicates information about Engaged Learning to all university constituents.
• During 2013, we developed a more robust website for Engaged Learning with a complete list of approved courses, established processes for students seeking Engaged Learning from outside venues (study abroad), and for faculty seeking to apply for the Engaged Learning designation.
• During 2013 - 2015, we developed and implemented an outcomes-based assessment plan of the Engaged Learning University Requirement, including identifying the learning outcomes, establishing a rubric, norming and calibrating the rubric, and conducting a pilot assessment with a faculty/staff review committee through spring 2015. 
• During 2015 - 2016, we implemented a university-wide assessment plan for the Engaged Learning University Requirement, which included a three-pronged approach: 1) Collection of faculty syllabi, 2) Submission of student placements via the student information system, and 3) Submission of a final, written reflection by students through the eportfolio system.
