WEDNESDAY:  Field trip

 

 

THURSDAY: In-class reading: “The Making of Kuwait and the Unmaking of Iraq”. How did the Uqair Conference lay the groundwork for the current upheaval in Iraq and Syria today?

 

 

FRIDAY: Overview of the Persian Gulf since 1979.

 

*TERM PAPER OUTLINES ARE DUE  Thursday OCTOBER 10TH.  ( Write an opening paragraph and underlined thesis statement.  Roman numeraled outline of the rest of the paper (body paragraphs, and refrence page – TYPED)
