The Computer Information Systems Program uses many resources for students in Career planning. One major source is the Career Planning Guide located within the Virginia CTE Resource Center at  http://www.cteresource.org/cpg.  Students can search for occupations, browse by career clusters, and review Career and Technical Education courses.

We also work with our local community college that provides a Career Coach who is on our school campus 2-3 times a week. The Career Coach offers valuable information on how to apply for college, what educational path the student wishes to take, and the what the working industry is looking for in employees.
