TEC 545 studied the appropriate usage of multimedia in the classroom to differentiate instruction for all learner styles. The discussion and involvement of video, audio, and interactive programs for drill and practice, research, problem-solving, and student created presentations or portfolio documentation developed a strong background for my future use of these items. Additionally, the analysis of effective project development, including time, budget, and resources, enabled an understanding of the difficulty in implementation of a program on a school or district basis.

    The team developed this PowerPoint presentation as a visual aid when presenting finding to a small group of teachers. This presentation includes highlights from the research document, links to additional resources, and graphics to enhance attendee retention of material.
  2. CLC Project Module 7 CLC Project Module 7
    This document evaluates multimedia technology increasing student achievement as it pertains to language arts, math, science, social studies, and special education, and foreign language. The team discovered that there are many facets that increase student achievement, but further research is required to understand which particular disciplines respond best to multimedia.
