Proposed actions to achieve goal: Worked with the English Department, Ashley Cross, the professor of the ENG 110 course for Ed. majors, to incorporate argumentative writing assignments and close reading of texts (Required skills to pass these tests.) Faculty mentors for the edTPA. 3/4 credit per student mentored.

Expected Results: Continue to improve our scores on the teacher's exams.
Details/Description: We offered a 0 credit course specifically for the ALST in the fall, 2015 semester. Students found the course to be too much of a time commitment for 0 credits, and, based on evaluations, they thought the course could have been a workshop instead. Therefore, Brother Charles is teaching a workshop for students who need to take these tests. However, we may need someone to come in for the EAS, because the topics focus on special needs populations that require a specialist in the field.
