Welcome to the Fitness for Life page. This course helps students adopt a lifestyle that will achieve physical fitness and understand all of the components of fitness, such as cardio-vascular fitness, strength, flexibility, endurance, weight control, nutrition, and stress management. This course is also designed to give the students knowledge and skills necessary to self-assess, create, conduct, calculate, and redesign personal fitness programs. It is a combination of classroom-based and activity-based learning activities. The text book used is Fitness for Life (Corbin & Lindsay).
