Context: I completed this assignment for the Social Studies block II class, under the instruction of Dr. Oldendorf. In the fall of 2007.
Impact: This assignment included a trip to Wilks county school to watch a current event lesson being performed in a secound grade classroom. The teacher demonstrated how to use the nespaper in teaching young children about current events. I prepared a current even lesson appropriate for my intership in first grade. The lesson matched the curriculum of the grade level. I chose two current events which integrated science and social studies with language arts
