(8) Accreditation Status

Standard 18: The unit must make available to candidates, online or in print, the following information:
(8) unit and program accreditation status.

UED makes available to students information about unit and program accreditation from PELSB on the School of Urban Education homepage in a section titled Accreditation situated below the Highlights section and above the Faculty/Staff section. It is clearly stated that UED has approval from PELSB to offer teaching licensure programs. Additionally, on each program’s home page on the university website there is a section subtitled Program Accreditation which contains accreditation status information. Figure 18.9 is a screen snip taken from the Urban Early Childhood program webpage.
