Unit Topic: Tu sala de clases                                                                                                                 Duration of Unit: 10 hours

 

Context for the Integrated Performance Assessment: Your class has decided to assemble packages of school supplies to send to UNICEF so that they can be distributed to a needy school in Latin America. You and your partner have been asked to prepare one package.

 

Interpretive Task: Read an article and look at photos on UNICEF.  Make a list of 10 items that you think should be included in your package.

 

Interpersonal Task: Discuss the 10 items that your and your partner listed. From the items that you and your partner listed select 8 to include in the package.

 

Presentational Task: Write a note to your teacher telling him/her the supplies you want to include in your package and why.
