Chicago Professionals for Youth is a network of young professionals who are dedicated to helping students achieve their dream of going to college through mentoring. CPY connects motivated urban scholars with committed young professionals to provide one-on-one mentorship throughout the college process.

As a Collge Mentor, I mentor a talented, high achieving young person with limited college planning and preparing resources from September through May. I assist my Scholar with the college application and preperation process including brainstorming and reviewing their essays for applications and scholarships, researching good fit colleges and universities, reviewing applications and creating and reviewing resumes. My goal is to assist my Scholar with finding, appling to, enrolling in, and succeeding at a college that will develop their passions and talents.
