As a logical progression from the previous outcome on diversity, I have also included my unit on Grendel, and the employment of Devil's Advocate as a tool for teaching multiple perspectives, here.  However, here I also include evidence of my usage of multiple instructional strategies, namely my work in helping to increase literacy through content area reading strategies (CARS) which I employed while tutoring at New Rising Star Missionary Baptist Church's after school tutoring program.

Attached is my CARS Unit. Not only did I meet the requirement of implementing established CARS, but I also developed and implemented a few of my own CARS, including TJMA: Text-Set Jigsaw Mapping Activity.
