My ISYS 272 Class

The class that I am currently in is ISYS 272 Introduction to Business Programming. This course is one of the very first for my specific concentration and teaches us about the basics of business computer programming using a coding software called Visual Basic or VB. Visual Basic is an object-oreintated coding software that makes it extremely easy to create programs that require user interaction through a GUI as well as displaying information to the user using the GUI. I have attached a few of the more, in my opinion, difficult/interesting programs that we have created in the class.

Travel Agency Cost Calculator

This program was used to demonstrate how to use both multiple forms as well as modal windows. This program also calculates the cost of a scuba diving or a sky diving trip while accounting for a discount if the number of people entered in by the user is greater than 5.

Bagel & Coffee Shop Price Calculator

This price calculator was created to demonstrate how radio buttons and check boxes work. For radio buttons, only one may be selected at a time and for check boxes multiple may be selected at once. After you have made your choices, this program will calculate what the total cost of your order will be.

Below are the downloads for the programs so you can test them yourself!
