Calendar

It is extremely important to me to be considerate of the traditions that come with my students’ cultures. Although I will not celebrate religious holidays in my class, I find it very important to know when certain celebrations take place so that I can make accommodations for my students. For that particular reason, I created a calendar that lists all types of important dates, such as the beginning of Passover and the First of Ramadan. I will share this calendar with my students so that they may recognize different celebrations and I will use it to carry celebrations such as Chinese New Year across the curriculum.
