TITLE: Recruitment and Retention of African American Male Adolescents in Leadership Programs
ABSTRACT:
This paper reviews scholarly work relating to the most effective ways to recruit and retain African American males in leadership programs. Through extensive research, this paper includes an examination of methods used while conducting research, as well as historical considerations, possible reasons for underrepresentation in leadership programs, as well as possible solutions. The conclusion of the paper focuses on useful sources for continued research.
