TITLE:  What Impact Does the Implementation of Cogenerative Dialogues Have on the Educational Experience of Secondary Students? A Review of Literature

ABSTRACT:  This study reviewed the existing literature and sought to answer the following question:  What impact does implementing cogenerative dialogues have on the educational experience of secondary students? Cogenerative dialogue is a flexible term used to describe teachers gathering students in a meeting with the sole purpose of garnering feedback on their teaching, routines, curriculum content, and overall classroom environment. Together, students and teachers co-generate a plan to improve the classroom and monitor implementation. Research suggests a myriad of benefits including increased engagement, stronger student-teacher relationships, and elevated student voice in the classroom.
