TITLE:  The Bull in My Room: Effective Uses of Technology and its Impact on Achievement

ABSTRACT:  What are effective uses of technology urban high school English Language Arts educators can implement into their curriculum? How do these uses of technology impact scholar achievement? This review of literature aims to identify specific and effective in-school technological experiences one high school English Language Arts educator can create for his scholars. Online discussions and blogging are discussed at length including beneficial pedagogical applications with technology. This thesis concludes with a discussion about future areas of study regarding technology and scholar achievement and the exclusive and arduous responsibility educators play in developing effective technological experiences for scholars.
