TITLE: The Mental Health and Well-Being of Educators: A Review of Literature
ABSTRACT: Teachers’ mental health should be regarded as a concern and just as important as their physical health. The literature reveals that the topic of mental health of teachers is not a field that is widely looked at and there should be more research into each of the following categories: the relationship of the teacher and student, the school climate the teacher works in, and how mindfulness can be learned to improve the well-being of the teacher. This literature review highlights the need to do more research into this field and the need for more studies in the future.
