One exciting assignment within this course was to locate a book related to mathematics and then read it to the class.  I also had to create an activity that reinforced the math concepts found within the book.  I then taught my math class for a portion of class time, having a chance to speak in public.  I enjoyed this activity because I realized the importance of combining different subjects together.
